More Great Ways to Eat Healthier
2017 Open Market & CSA Box Info is Here!
♦ Open Market: All you can eat fresh for one set fee
FARM FRESH PRODUCE-WHEN & WHERE YOU WANT IT
Open Market (OM) Members have the flexibility of shopping in our farm’s market, any/every day we’re open, and taking home as much USDA Certified Organic, synthetic pesticide-free and NON-GMO produce as desired. New this year—OM Members can now flash their Member Badge at our Farmer’s Market booths in Petoskey, Boyne and Harbor Springs to enjoy the same shopping privileges in these locations! The yearly fee associated with OM is based on the number of members living in your household, and the only limit is what household members can consume fresh, in a timely manner. OM membership is based on an honor system. We ask only that members plan well so as little produce as possible goes to waste.
♦ Traditional CSA Boxes
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is one of the easiest and most economical ways to enjoy a portion of a farmer’s freshest seasonal produce. At Coveyou’s, we’ve found that CSA is often the first step for those interested in exploring farm-to-table eating and cooking-before becoming an Open Market Member. Both OM and CSA members join as a way to eat fresher, healthier, truly local produce. They like knowing where their food comes from, how it’s grown, and enjoy getting to know the farmer/family who grows it. It’s a win-win as it also helps farmers maintain a stable source of income and cover early season expenses before harvesting.
CSA Members, too, tailor their portion to their individual tastes by picking from 8 to 15 different produce items (number varies based on the box size chosen and the time of year). Members reserve their portion size with a deposit in spring and begin enjoying their weekly box of produce at the farm in June.
Delivery options are available in selected areas.
