Pseudata Iris are a cross between Iris pseudocorus and Iris ensata ("pseudata" is combination of both names) and we are pleased to finally be able to offer this unique type of Iris.
Siberian irises are haled for their elegant, delicate flowers and disease resistance. They perform admirably in the sunny to partially shady garden, but need plenty of water throughout the season to continue looking their best. In naturalized settings, they are particularly effective around water features
Iris chrysographes, are so dark that they really do seem black. Find a spot where you can appreciate up close the small golden flash in the throat, sparkling like a midnight star. Plants appreciate a moist but well-drained location, and soil that is amended with compost.
