SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICIES

These Shipping & Returns Policies are part of our Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and should be therefore read alongside our main Terms: https://coveyouscenicfarm.com/terms-and-conditions/ 

Please carefully review our Shipping & Returns Policies when purchasing our products. This policy will apply to any order you place with us.

All shipments originate from our Petoskey farm at the following address:

WHAT ARE MY SHIPPING & DELIVERY OPTIONS? 

In-Store Pickup 

ln-store and curbside pickup is available for all purchases. An email confirmation will be sent when the order is ready for pickup.

  • Pickups are available during regular store hours posted on our website.
  • Pickup location is at the main farm located at 4160 US Highway 131, Petoskey, MI 49770. 
  • While same-day pickup is usually available, customers should allow for at least 4 hours after the order is placed for our staff to process the order and get it ready for pickup. 

Items purchased online for pickup at the farm must be picked up within 30 days (4 days for produce to maintain freshness) or you MUST contact us to coordinate a later pick up time. After 30 days (4 days for produce), the product will be discarded and no refunds issued. Contact the farm with any special circumstances regarding pickup or shipment.

Shipping Options

Customers will have a choice to pick their preferred shipping method from the United States Postal Service (USPS) and/or United Parcel Service (UPS). Please note that not all methods may be available at time of checkout and are subject to change. 

The cost of shipping is dependent on package weight, size, and delivery destination. The shipping cost will be displayed at the time of checkout and should be reviewed by the customer prior to purchase. Please refer to the details of your order for accurate shipping costs. 

In addition to shipping fees, orders are subject to a $3.00 handling fee (no handling fees are charged for orders picked up in-store/curbside). 

Produce Memberships

After purchasing produce memberships online, the customer will be able to use the membership immediately within the duration outlined in the specific membership option purchased. Please refer to our Produce Membership Agreement for more information and membership guidelines. 

Delivery options are available for the Traditional CSA Produce Membership program to customers that live in the Michigan cities of Petoskey, Harbor Springs, or Bay View only. These deliveries are serviced by our own staff and business vehicles and not by any third party or outside vendor (USPS, FedEx, etc.). Deliveries for CSA Produce Boxes and pricing are subject to change. Please refer to our Produce Membership Agreement for current rates. 

DO YOU DELIVER INTERNATIONALLY?

We ship to areas within the 48 continental states and do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska. We do not offer international shipping.

ARE THERE OTHER SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS?

  • Not all shipping methods are available for certain items.

  • Frozen or refrigerated food items are currently available for in-store/curbside pickup only.

  • Physically large items (e.g. soil bags, furniture, ceramic pots) are currently available for in-store/curbside pickup only. These restrictions are indicated in the product descriptions.

  • Products within a transaction cannot be divided into different shipping methods, so if the order contains 1 frozen, refrigerated, or physically large item, the ENTIRE order will be made available for pickup/curbside only.

  • Orders cannot be shipped to PO boxes.

  • Orders are only shipped on weekdays (Monday-Friday).

  • If orders are placed after 4 p.m. EST, one additional business day will be added to the estimated arrival of the shipment.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER IS DELAYED?

If delivery is delayed for any reason we will let you know as soon as possible and will advise you of a revised estimated date for delivery.

 

REFUNDS, RETURNS, & CANCELLATIONS POLICY 

Online Purchases

All food, flower, and seasonal items are not returnable after purchase. Hardgood items (such as artwork, gardening supplies, etc.) that are returned in the exact condition as purchased may be returned but will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Customers pay for any return shipping costs. 

Items purchased online for pickup at the farm must be picked up within 30 days (4 days for produce to maintain freshness) or you MUST contact us to coordinate a later pick up time. If for some reason the shipping carrier (UPS, USPS, etc.) will not take your shipment for delivery, we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund the amount charged to your card.

In-Store Purchases
