Black Sweet Cherries; Locally grown by Farmer's Daughter in Elk Rapids, Mich...just down the Lake Michigan shoreline from our farm.
We have Transitional Organic Cherries which are grown without any snythetic chemical pesticide sprays or fertilizers with the trees in the process of becoming USDA certified organic (it takes 3 years of production with organic methods before the USDA allows the cherries to be called fully organic)!
We also have conventionally grown cherries which have been grown with synthetic chemical sprays and fertilizers...which is how nearly all cherries in Northern Michigan are grown.
Larger volumes available for preserving. A "Lug" of cherries is 20 lbs.
Lugs(Conventional only at this time) may need to be special ordered. Call the farm!
